Ganpati Atharvashirsha and Ganesh Stotra competition organised by PTVEM Primary section school
On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a Ganapati Atharvashirsha and Ganesh Stotra Competition was organised in Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School Primary Section.
The word Atharva is made up of two words अ (a) means not and थर्व (tharva) means of unchanging mind.
Recitation of the same helps the students to stay calm and focused apart from developing the value of devotion.
Stotras – ode, eulogy or a hymn of praise to Shri Ganesha too were recited by our students with great devotion.
Std 1&2 Ganesh Stotra
Std 3&4 Atharva Shirsha
Retired Headmistress of Mahila Sangh Pre-primary School and an active member of ‘Zapurjha Mandal’ Mrs Rohini Mulye and eminent writer, blogger and social activist, Mrs Sneha Bhatawadekar were the judges for the final round.
The prize winners were happy to receive the prizes from our esteemed Chief Guests.
