Girls Students of Orion-CICSE – Grade IX & X celebrated ICT Day in Ericsson India Mumbai office

International “Girls in ICT Day” is celebrated to inspire and encourage girls to pursue a future in ICT / STEM and to empower them by ensuring that they have the necessary skills, confidence and support to achieve their goals.

Ericsson India celebrated this day in their Mumbai Office by inviting the Girl Students of Grade IX and X from VPMS’s Orion School (CISCE) school, who have inclination towards Technology.

Ms. Prarthana Padhye and Mr. Soumu Biswas from Ericsson India co-ordinated and organized this event. The Ericsson Team which also included Mr. Monu Kabra, Ms. Roopali Kulkarni, Ms. Megha Paliwal, Mr. Amarjeet Singh, Ms. Divya D and Mr. Joy Sen educated our students through Presentations and Virtual meetings on Evolution of Mobile Technology, the role being played by Ericsson in Communication Technology, the Inventions and Innovations happening in the Industry, and need for girls to develop Digital Skills for Future.
