Kids, teachers and parents are happy with the back to school thing
Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika announced opening of schools in Mumbai Jurisdictions from 4th October 2021. Class 8th to Class 12th will be open. Schools are to ensure all guidelines are properly followed so that the students are provided with a safe environment conducive to learning.
– Parent consent is mandatory for students to attend schools. Attendance is not mandatory
– All teaching and non-teaching staff to be fully vaccinated, otherwise a negative RTPCR – 48 hours prior is mandatory.
– Masks are mandatory. Hand Hygiene and social distancing to be practiced regularly
– Regular disinfection of schools and classrooms
– In case if any student has any signs of covid-19, then he should be taken to the nearest medical centre.
– Keep separate entry points for teaching / non-teaching staff and for students. Make a timetable to avoid large gatherings.
– Check the temperature of students at the entry gate.
– In each classroom, there must be a maximum of 15-20 students. In case if the number of students is more, then make a provision to call them on alternate days.
– Each school has to be connected with a medical centre nearby.
– In case if any relative of a particular student is covid-19 positive then that particular student must not come to school
– In case if any student is found covid-19 positive then the school must be closed and sanitized. The student must be taken to the nearby medical center and treatment must be started immediately.
– Assembly in school must be avoided
– If students are getting any mental/physical pressure then kindly report it to your parents.
– Mask and school uniform must be washed properly every day. Students need to wear fresh mask and uniform every day.
Students are also very happy to attend the school physically after a gap of 1.5 years. Students will also see each other after a long time. Parents are also somewhat relieved because of school opening. Teachers are also happy that they will be seeing students after a long time and they no longer need to shout, stress on their screens and depend on the technology anymore.
