M.L. Dahanukar College Shines at 58th Youth Festival Zonal Level
Vile Parle, August 2025 – Students of M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce, Vile Parle (East) brought laurels to the suburb by delivering an outstanding performance at the Zonal level of the 58th Youth Festival (2025–26), organized across Mumbai colleges.
At the Performing Arts events hosted by K.E. Shroff College, Kandivali West, the Dahanukar team excelled in theatre, music, and dance:
Theatre: One Act Play (Marathi) – 1st place, One Act Play (Hindi) – 3rd, Skit (Marathi) – 2nd, Mono Acting (Hindi) – 2nd, Mimicry – 1st place.
Music: Indian Group Song – 1st place, Indian Classical Vocal – 3rd, Indian Instrumental Solo (Non-Percussion) – 1st place, Western Vocal Solo – 3rd.
Dance: Folk Dance – 2nd.
At the Literary Arts and Fine Arts events held at L.S. Raheja College, Santacruz:
Literary Arts: Elocution (Marathi) – 1st place, Elocution (English) – 3rd, Debate (Marathi) – 2nd.
Fine Arts: Mehndi – Consolation prize.

The stellar achievements highlight the talent, creativity, and determination of Dahanukar students across multiple disciplines. Their wins also underline Vile Parle’s continued reputation as a hub of youth culture and academic excellence.
