Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) Students Shine in Various State and Regional Competitions!

In the months of July and August 2023, the talented students of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) showcased their extraordinary skills and brought home several accolades in various state and regional competitions.
Pratyush Mone, a grade 7 student, emerged as a true champion in the State Level Kick Boxing Selection Championship 2023. Held at District Sports Complex, Baramati, Pune, on 29th and 30th July 2023, Pratyush secured the Gold Medal in the Musical Forms category, impressing everyone with his remarkable performance.

In the 18th CISCE Zonal Swimming Championship 2023 hosted by Jamnabai Narsee School at Shahaji Raje Krida Sankul Andheri (West) on 24th July 2023, young Malhar Gitaye from Grade 2 proved to be a swimming prodigy. He proudly won three medals in the Boys Under 8 Age group – Gold in 50 M Butterfly Stroke, Silver in 50 M Free Style, and Bronze in 50 M Backstroke, making his school proud.

The school’s commitment to promoting physical and mental well-being was evident in the CISCE Regional Yoga Competition 2023, hosted by Queen Mary School on 21st July 2023. Sajiree Lele, a dedicated student from Grade 10, secured the second prize in the Girls Under 17 category. Her flawless performance in various asanas showcased agility and skill.


Continuing her excellence, Sajiree Lele also participated in the UNDER-17 WOMEN’S OPEN INDIVIDUAL SURYANAMASKAR COMPETITION organized by Atal Seva Kendra. Her dedication and grace led her to secure the FIRST position by performing 231 suryanamaskars, earning her a well-deserved cash prize. In the group competition held at Lokmanya Seva Sangh on 16th July 2023, Sajiree once again displayed her prowess by performing an astonishing 505 Surya namaskars, earning a trophy and cash prize for her outstanding achievement.

Not to be overshadowed, other students from Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE) also showcased their talent in the Suryanamaskar Competition. Grisha Shah (Grade VIII) performed 480, Advik Desai (Grade VII) performed 473, Disha Jadhav (Grade V) performed 477, Daksh Awhad (Grade V) performed 455, Hans Patel (Grade V) performed 454, and Aaradhya Chavan (Grade V) performed 438 suryanamaskars, earning them medals and appreciation.

The school administration and fellow students are extremely proud of these young achievers for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding performances. Their achievements highlight the holistic education provided by Parle Tilak Vidyalaya (ICSE), empowering students to excel not only academically but also in sports and extracurricular activities.
