Vaccination started for Parlekars at Shirodkar Hospital
The Covid-19 vaccination has started in full swing for Senior citizens and 45 + age group in Mumbai. Parlekars staying in East had to travel to a distance for getting a jab. They had to travel to facilities like Seven Hills Hospital, Marol. Nanavati Hospital, Vile parle west. Cooper Hospital, Irla. Jumbo centre, BKC or any other closer hospital which were open for vaccination. Because of the Age and Comorbid patients its a risk to travel during covid-19 times. Brihanmumbai Mahanagar Palika heard the plea of parlekars and started a vaccination centre in Shirodkar Hospital, Opposite to Mahila Sangh school from 31st March, 10 am onwards. Though Online registration hasn’t started but any person above 45 years of age can walk in with necessary documents, register and get vaccination done. To start with only 100 persons per day will get a vaccine at the centre. Online Registrations will open in near course and then parlekars can register and visit as per time slot given.
