How to reach ?

The nearest railway station is Igatpuri, which is around 45 km away from Bhandardara. From Mumbai, you can travel by Kolkata Mail, Howrah Mail or Mahanagri Express to reach Igatpuri station. Many express trains are available to reach Igatpuri from Mumbai and Pune. From Igatpuri you can reach Bhandardara by taxi or state transport bus which will charge you Rs. 500 and Rs. 25 respectively.

Pune to Bhandardara train is also available. From Pune, you can travel by Pune Manmad Express and get down at Igatpuri and from Hyderabad, you can travel by Devagiri Express to reach Igatpuri. Pune to Bhandardara distance is around 135 km.

From Mumbai you can drive to Bhandardara through Mumbai-Nashik Highway (NH 3). Head towards Thane – Bhivandi – Asangaon – Igatpuri. Once you reach Ghoti Budruk take a right turn and cross the railway tracks. Again take a right turn at Pimpalgaon and one more right to Bari village.

One can reach Bhandardara from Igatpuri by road to Bhandardara head towards Ghot Budruk and take a right turn. Head towards Wasali – Baari – Chichondi and reach Bhandardara from Shendi. There are many Igatpuri to Bhandardara bus services and auto services available to reach this beautiful hill station.
