Olympic-Size Swimming Pool at PTKS to Open from October 1

Swimming enthusiasts in Vile Parle have a new facility to look forward to as the Olympic-size swimming pool at Prabodhan Thackeray Krida Sankul, Vile Parle East, is set to open from 1 October 2026.

Admissions for the October–December 2026 swimming quarter are now open on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited availability. PTKS is offering separate batches for adults, children and senior citizens, with multiple morning and evening timings.

The quarterly fees are ₹9,000 for adults, ₹7,000 for children, ₹4,500 for senior citizens and ₹3,500 for the 8.00 p.m. batch. A three-month coaching programme is also available for ₹5,500.

Existing members can apply using their PTKS membership number, while new members can complete the online admission form. Required documents include an Aadhaar card, address proof, medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner and passport-size photograph.

With a new Olympic-size facility and dedicated swimming batches, the pool is expected to provide a valuable sporting and fitness facility for residents of Vile Parle and surrounding areas.
